We need places outside of time for good dialogue and even better encounters. And where could this work better than under a twinkling starry sky and the vastness of the infinite universe?
This is exactly where new ways of dialogue are being explored: in the Zeiss-Groß-Planetarium Berlin!
Why common ground? A radical experiment: common ground is an experiment in an unusual place. Away from classic lectures, instead involving and open. Dialogue on an equal footing: there is no frontal sounding, but interpersonal encounters and good conversations - with people outside your filter bubble.
Space is created in which people of all generations come together to talk about their lives and learn from each other. Topics that connect: no matter who we are, we often have more in common than we think. At common ground, we shed light on small and big questions in a personal way: what does respect actually mean? What happens when very different views come together?
common ground builds bridges
A highlight and the finale is eating together at a long table. We want to build relationships that will last beyond the day. The way of the meal shows how we can grow together as a community: through good dialogue, openness and mutual trust.
The event takes place as part of the exhibition .achtzehn of the Museum für Werte in cooperation with the artist John Kolya Reichart and is supported by the Heinrich Böll Foundation
