The Gethsemane Church is a Protestant church in the Berlin district of Pankow and is located in the Helmholtz district of Prenzlauerberg. It was built in 1891-1893 according to plans by August Orth and owes its significance not least to its role during the peaceful revolution in the GDR in the fall of 1989.
