The chamber orchestra "Kammersolisten Berlin" was founded in April 2015 by Alexander Grothe. The members of this ensemble have known each other for years and have played together in a wide variety of ensembles around the world.

Individually, each is either an outstanding soloist, chamber musician or orchestra musician from one of the various large orchestras in Berlin (Konzerthaus Berlin, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin, etc.).
But for a long time they have harbored the desire to play together in a chamber orchestra, where they would not only meet other outstanding instrumentalists, but would also be among
friends and be able to fully contribute their own musical ideas. This trust that the musicians have in each other enables them to play freely and create an unmistakable sound. They push each other to achieve top performances and thus arouse enthusiasm and emotions in the listeners.
The international line-up gives the orchestra a diversity of ideas that is unparalleled; its repertoire includes works from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic and Modern periods.
The circle of friends of this extraordinary orchestra includes outstanding conductors and soloists from four continents, which is why the orchestra has received invitations to Korea, Spain, Scandinavia, Brazil and the USA in a very short space of time.
