Book Presentation and Discussion

In the Havel Valley lies a site with stables and barns that has belonged to the Wunderblock Foundation of the painter Katharina Grosse for three years. From 1961 to 1991 it was the cattle combine of the Jeserig Völkerfreundschaft agricultural co-operative.

Annett Gröschner cuts a swathe through the history of the place, looks into archives, visits the cattle breeding museum, conducts interviews with contemporary witnesses and creates a collage of voices and documents.

In the context of the exhibition “Ein Dorf 1950–2022

  • With Annett Gröschner, Katharina Grosse
