The jazz trio Catfish Row performs a cross-section of Duke Ellington's work.
The trio Catfish Row consists of jazz singer Anett Levander, Christian Raake (saxophone, flute), and Dirk Steglich (bass clarinet). They present a cross-section of Duke Ellington's work – from 1930s dance music from the Cotton Club to excerpts from the "Far East Suite" and the "Sacred Concerts," which were among Ellington's most important compositions in his final years.
