A scenic discovery tour through the former Borsigwerke in Tegel

It goes back to 1931. The Berlin company BORSIG is on the verge of bankruptcy. In the role of investors, the tour participants inspect the factory premises to check a possible takeover. In the process, they discover all sorts of oddities and get caught up in a whirlwind of exciting events.


"The Borsig Conspiracy" is a 'scenic discovery tour' that sheds light on the history of the famous "Borsigwerke" in Tegel and its founding family. It addresses the age of high industrialization in Berlin, the Nazi era, the resistance among the Borsians as well as phenomena, myths and absurdities of the economic system yesterday and today.

The tour takes place at original locations on the site of the former Borsigwerke. In an entertaining mix of history and fiction, the participants learn interesting, amusing and mysterious facts about the place and its past. The shopping center Hallen am Borsigturm, old industrial halls and other locations become the setting for an exciting excursion.
