This unique textbook brings the development and life of Klaus Hoffmann to life not only through the lyrics but also through many photos and other contemporary documents.

In a conversation with André Schmitz, Chairman of the Friends of the Berlin State Library, Klaus Hoffmann talks about his music and sings some of his songs.

Klaus Hoffmann began performing in the Berlin club scene as a teenager and has remained closely connected to music ever since. Records and later CD, concerts and major tours run like a common thread through his life.

At the beginning of his career, after training at the Max Reinhardt Seminar, Klaus Hoffmann played at theatres and in films such as the lead role in "The New Sorrows of Young W." based on the book by Ulrich Plenzdorf. Later he wrote novels, read audio books and is always present on stage and for his audience with his music.
