Reading & discussion

Karim Kattan is a multi-prize-winning Francophone writer from Bethlehem, Palestine. His literary writing has never appeared in German translation and this will be his first event in Germany.

Karim will read from his work in French and English, and a discussion will be followed by an audience Q&A and a signing over drinks.

This launch event forms part of Kitabat, an ad hoc series of events celebrating exciting new writing by contemporary Arab authors for Berlin audiences, focusing particularly on writers whose work is not well known in Germany.
