A tribute to Berlin's nightlife in the roaring twenties

With live band, burlesque beauty dance, compère, introductory dance course, casino, absinthe bar, vendor girls, photo studio and many other amusements and divertissements. It sparkles and glitters in the Bohème Sauvage, it crackles and trembles! Immerse yourself in Berlin's dazzling nightlife of the twenties.

For more than 18 years, Else Edelstahl, the grande dame of the Roaring Twenties, has regularly invited bohemians and bon vivants from all over the world to dance on a volcano!
Her illustrious parties with up to 1000 guests have been taking place regularly in Berlin, Hamburg and Cologne ever since.

Jack Woodhead will be your compère for the glittering ball night. The Jungle Jazz Band will put a fire under your feet with their energetic 20s hot jazz music and swing.

Guests will receive 50 million Reichsmarks as soon as they enter the venue. These can be gambled away at the roulette table, at blackjack or poker in the casino area.

If you are lucky, you can spend 150 million reichsmarks on a rendezvous with the green fairy at the absinthe bar. Cigars, cigarette holders, useful accessories or even rubber products for the pleasure afterwards and much more can be found at the vendor's tray.

The dress code should be strictly observed:
1910 to 1930, diva, dandy, gigolo, bohemian.

If you run into difficulties, please seek advice in advance from our in-house costume and accessory rental service, Le Boudoir, in Berlin Friedrichshain.

Please note that photography is not allowed: if you are caught with one of these newfangled pocket cameras, you may be fined 50 million Reichsmarks.

Suitable for an international audience aged 18 to 80.
