The conference will focus on the following topics: Digitalisation, automation, material cycles, mechanical + thermal conditioning, metal extraction. The first day is organised as a plenary day.

It will start with a block of three presentations on current political framework conditions. This will be followed by a poster pitch in which young scientists will present their topics. In the afternoon, lectures on a selected topic will be presented.
On the second day of the conference, two parallel sessions will continue, each with three individual presentations on further topics. At the end of the second conference day and thus the conference, a joint closing lecture is planned.
