He received his last Oscar in February 2016 for Tarantino’s “The Hateful 8”. Morricone made himself immortal almost 50 years ago with his music for “Once Upon a Time in the West”. His compositions for the spaghetti western classic “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly”, Roland Joffé’s drama “Mission” and Giuseppe Tornatore’s film “Cinema Paradiso” are particularly well-known.
His fans can experience Morricone’s unforgettable works live in Berlin. The large ensemble of soloists, musicians and choir from the Milano Festival Opera under the direction of the renowned conductor Marco Seco will be on stage and bring Morricone’s stirring music to life.
