The Brighton musician gained attention with impressive performances at The Great Escape Festival in 2015. Her acclaimed debut album attracted attention from radio stations including BBC Radio One, Two and Six Music, and she played live sessions with Steve Lamacq and Jo Whiley.

In addition to high critical acclaim, her songs reached a total of 20 million streams. Their third work "Light Sleeper" will be released in May, for which The National's Aaron Dessner is responsible as producer.
In addition to the single "Sylvester" there are already other promising harbingers such as "Release Myself" and "The Weeping".
In the summer, Bess Atwell will accompany The National on their tour before going on a headlining tour with new material in the fall, including a stop in Berlin for a show.
