As part of the European Month of Photography 2025, BELIEVE showcases works by four artists from the photography collective _ebene, each offering a unique perspective on the multifaceted nature of faith. The exhibition encompasses a wide range of approaches—from long-term documentary projects to live performances—all connected by a playful and personal exploration of belief.

The featured works introduce a diverse array of subjects: believers, religious spaces, church traditions and rituals, as well as deeply personal spiritual experiences. A trans man embarks on an inner journey, while exhibition visitors themselves become part of the artistic process.

Sankt Studio, the exhibition venue, plays a key role in this dialogue. Once a chapel and now a creative secular space, it serves as both a backdrop and a point of friction. BELIEVE extends an invitation to reflect on life’s fundamental questions.

The exhibition is accompanied by a vibrant program of artist talks, sound performances, and public discussions.
