Ödön von Horváth
The comedy "To the Beautiful View" by Ödön von Horváth was written in 1926. This social satire, whose premiere at the Dresden Residenztheater was canceled due to the global economic crisis, was finally premiered in Graz in 1969. Set in an idyllic setting, the play shows the dreary everyday life of a society that is doomed to decline.
