The American artist Steve Roden died on September 6, 2023. To commemorate him, singuhr — projects and silent green present the long duration concert "in be tween noise“ on April 27th 2025, Roden’s 61. birthday.

in be tween noise – a tribute to steve roden (1964–2023)
For eight hours, a selection of his music will be played in the Kuppelhalle. The concert allows people to come, listen, leave and return throughout one whole day.
Roden's poetic works between painting, sculpture, sound and video develop an individual and visionary aesthetic language. Through the integration of music, text, code, objects and instruments and by experimenting with field recordings and the act of listening itself, Roden creates unique connections between artistic disciplines.
