The more crooked the line, the better

During his studies, Walter Gropius wrote to his mother that he “can't draw that well,” and later drawing exercises were very popular in the preliminary history course. But how can you approach the drawn line in an unusual way today?

In the workshop, participants draw with electric excavators, translate computer-generated commands into pen movements, try out line work supported by augmented reality and test tasks from the historical preliminary course. Everyone lets their pens glow.

The workshop is led by the mediators Verena Cremer and Julia Marquardt.

Feel free to drop by the temporary bauhaus archive spontaneously and see if there are any workshop spaces available. However, please do not be disappointed if all seats are taken.
