The Karajan Academy offers talented young musicians the opportunity to perfect their skills through a scholarship with the Berlin Philharmonic. 


Founded in 1972 on the initiative of Herbert von Karajan, the academy is the Berliner Philharmoniker's promotion of young talent. Former members of the Karajan Academy can now be found in famous orchestras around the world.
