The works in "Athos in Drawings and Photographs" are the result of over 50 expeditions to the Holy Mountain spanning two decades. These journeys led to repeated visits to all the monasteries of Mount Athos, as well as to most of the hermitages and cells of the monastic republic.

"Athos in Drawings and Photographs" not only aims to present the Holy Mountain – Mount Athos – but also to attune viewers to a personal, spiritual connection with its expansive yet intimate spaces. It is a visual cartography of spiritual journeys spanning many years, in which all can participate. Athos himself remains invisible in the images and photographs, yet he is tangible in them – inviting us to seek, discover, and ultimately become part of a searching, healing self.
