The Embassy of Portugal/Camões Berlin invited young Portuguese artists in Germany to participate in a competition. Their task was to create a work that explores the themes of freedom and democracy and reflects their significance for their art and their personal lives.

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Carnation Revolution and the first free elections in Portugal in 2024, the exhibition of the award winners at the CLB will explore how the youngest generation of artists perceives these values – values for which their grandparents once fought.
Featuring works by Bruno De Marco, Clara Bolota, Constança Viegas, Diogo da Cruz, and Mathias Gramoso.
