Appaloosa

The band Appaloosa aims to always be open in the idiosyncratic compositions of saxophonist Sandrine Ramamonjisoa, both in improvisational passages and in diverse pieces. The young quartet thrives on their intense and intuitive interplay and conveys their joy of playing with seriousness and lightness, volatility and endurance at the same time. Stylistically, they operate in creative jazz with diverse influences from hip-hop, trap, and Malagasy music.
