Anouk is a lovable and helpful girl. However, there is one thing she doesn't like at all: going to bed! Her parents are all the more astonished when Anouk suddenly goes to bed in the evening full of anticipation.
What they don't know:
Every night a magical door opens to a world full of fantasy and adventure for Anouk. She experiences exciting adventures, accompanies pirates on treasure hunts, masters challenges in the jungle and meets colorful characters at the fair. Anouk makes new friends and supports other children in difficult and challenging situations.
When she tells them about her nightly adventures the next day, her parents always say: "Honey, you only dreamed it all!" But Anouk has "proof" that this is not the case. And her grandma seems to know more about it.
ANOUK - The children's musical takes explorers big and small into an imaginative world full of adventure, where everything seems possible.
With its characters and fascinating locations, the stage adaptation inspires the imagination and strengthens belief in the power of dreams.
The playbook was written by Georg Veit and Hendrikje Balsmeyer, while Peter Maffay and his team are responsible for the musical design.
The heart of the musical will be ten rousing and sophisticated children's songs by Peter Maffay & friends, most of which will be composed especially for this production and will contribute to the unique atmosphere.
The audience will be taken into a world full of fantasy and adventure, where friendship, courage and tolerance are the focus. The stage adaptation remains true to the successful children's books and conveys their valuable messages. The stage design combines traditional and modern elements.
The imaginative costumes allow the six performers to slip into over 20 different roles. A sophisticated lighting design highlights the action and creates an impressive atmosphere.
