Berlin literature in the Romanisches Café

Urban researcher and author Annett Gröschner has been traveling around Berlin for decades, vigilantly observing and examining the city's present and past. As a cultural journalist, feature writer, and exhibition organizer, she is one of the most important communicators of Berlin's history.

Her new novel "Schwebende Lasten" is set in her hometown of Magdeburg and retraces the life of a woman in the 20th century.

Bernadette Conrad and Michael Bienert will moderate the evening.

Admission is free, but donations to support the venue's continued existence are welcome. Tickets will be available from June 24, 2025.

This event is offered by the Bezirksamt Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf in cooperation with visitBerlin. Funded by grants for special tourism projects in the districts of the Senate Department for Economic Affairs, Energy and Public Enterprises.
