A man receives a fatal diagnosis. He will die before his daughter is born. So he tries to record a tape for her and asks himself if it is even possible to preserve something beyond one's own death.

What will remain of him? Disappointments? Sins? Wounds? Ideals? The memories of the sounds of the waves on the Black Sea, the zombie films of the 80s, rented from a West-Berlin video shop, the mood in a country after a military coup.
How is he supposed to relate something of himself when he only wants to forget the dark sides of his past just like the country he grew up in: Turkey. He doesn’t have the words, so he tries to reconstruct his fractured life with the songs that moved him.
