Young Euro Classic 2025
The Afghan Youth Orchestra in Exile comes from a country where music is currently banned. After the Taliban returned to power in 2021, the young musicians were forced to flee and found a new home in Portugal. From there, they are making a powerful statement against forgetting – with programs that preserve traditional Afghan music and connect it with European orchestral culture.
