What could be more contemplative than music by candlelight? Christmas melodies invite you to listen and pause in the candlelit village church. Selected works by Purcell, Bach and other classical composers create an atmospheric atmosphere and offer an oasis of calm in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the big city.

The works of Purcell and Bach fit perfectly into the contemplative Advent season. While Purcell's baroque sounds enchant with their grace and festive radiance, Bach's compositions touch with their depth and spiritual beauty. Both composers create an atmosphere of devotion and anticipation of Christmas.

The sonorous historic organ, built in 1862 by the Berlin organ builder Albert Lang as a gift from Friedrich Wilhelm IV, will be masterfully played by Vincent Kiefer this evening. The talented church musician will be accompanied by the parish's instrumental group. Look forward to an unforgettable experience for lovers of classical Advent music.

Admission is free this evening – but donations are, as always, very welcome.
