The Reichwein Singverein, a small choir from Neukölln, conducted by Christian Höffling, who also leads the HochmeisterChor based in the Halensee parish, is giving an Advent concert in the Hochmeisterkirche.

Under the title "O magnum mysterium" - O great mystery - well-known and lesser-known Advent and Christmas songs from various eras from Tomás Luis de Victoria and Michael Praetorius in the 16th to Hugo Distler and John Rutter in the 20th century will be heard.
Admission is free.
Concert donations will be divided equally between the following social projects of the Halensee parish:
The parish nurse Heike Forwergk brings the community to the people, accompanies them in (emergency) situations related to aging, supports them with individual worries, arranges contacts, provides practical help with applying for a care level or by accompanying them to the doctor.
The Huruma Centre in the partner diocese of Iringa in Tanzania is an orphanage for street children where they can find a safe place to stay and go to school.
