  • TINO DERADO - PIANO
  • ANDREAS LANG - BASS
  • ADAM NUSSBAUM - DRUMS

Adam Nussbaum is a Grammy-winning American jazz drummer who has shaped the jazz world over the past decades like no other. He received early piano lessons, played bass and saxophone as a teenager, but discovered drums as the musical love of his life. At 20, he moved to New York and immersed himself in the city’s jazz scene.
In the 1970s, he played with Sonny Rollins and embarked on a legendary European tour with John Scofield and Richie Beirach. Other notable names in his career include Steve Swallow, Gil Evans, Stan Getz, Michael and Randy Brecker, Kenny Wheeler, Jerry Bergonzi, and many more.
Equally at home in straight-ahead jazz and more modern, open styles, Adam always infuses his performances with his distinctive personal touch. In addition to his work as a "working musician," Adam teaches at New York University, the New School, and conducts courses worldwide.

Peter Weniger is one of the most sought-after instrumentalists on the European jazz scene. In the course of his career to date, the saxophonist, who now lives in Berlin, has performed with musicians such as John Abercrombie, Adam Nussbaum, Conrad Herwig, Jeff Hamilton and Dave Liebman, and has also appeared on CDs and in concerts with Jasper van't Hoff, Eddie Palmieri, Billy Cobham, Jean Louis Matinier and many others.
In addition to his live - activities, Weniger teaches since 1999 as part of a professorship at the "University of the Arts"- Berlin and was the artistic director of the Jazz Institute until mid-2019.

Tino Derado: Professor at the HfMH and at the Jazz Institute Berlin. He lived in New York City for 14 years and was an active member of the local jazz scene there. His portfolio includes collaborations with Jamey Haddad, Gary Burton, Peter Erskine, Richard Bona, Andy Gonzalez and many more. He is one of the most versatile and competent pianists living in Germany.

Danish-born bassist Andreas Lang is a Berliner by choice. With his fat sound he is a powerhouse for any rhythm section. Be it for international acts like Walt Weiskopf, Bill Steward, Jorge Rossy, Hans Ulrik, Kresten Osgood or Håvard Wiik or local heroes like Rudi Mahall, Christian Lillinger, Oliver Steidle, Gunter Hampel, Tobias Delius or John Schröder. He was rightly awarded the "New German Jazz Award" in 2017.
