Public guided tour through the exhibition (in German)
100 years after Franz Kafka's death, the exhibition Access Kafka juxtaposes manuscripts, drawings and letters from his estate with works of contemporary art: Kafka meets artists such as Yael Bartana, Maria Eichhorn, Anne Imhof, Martin Kippenberger, Maria Lassnig, Trevor Paglen, Hito Steyerl and others.
Questions of access and belonging are a recurring motif in Kafka's texts and are also at the heart of this cross-epochal and cross-disciplinary encounter. In her guided tour, curator Shelley Harten provides special insights into the exhibition and its concept.
Take part in the conversation between Kafka and the artists in the exhibition. Questions are welcome!
