The Südgelände Nature Park is located on a former railway site. After the closure of the railway, nature gradually reclaimed the terrain.
Where the area was once characterised by track ballast and sand, dry grassland, tall herbaceous meadows and an unspoilt forest were able to develop between the railway relics.
Join us on a search for traces of the past and gain an insight into the enormous biodiversity of the landscape and nature reserve.
Recommended age: from 10 years
