mit dem Konzerthausorchester Berlin und Joana Mallwitz

The one-hour short concerts “8Zehn30” on Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m. in the Konzerthaus Berlin offer an ideal opportunity to leave everyday life behind and immerse yourself in music for 60 minutes without a break - whether it's the end of the working day or there's still an evening shift to do.

The musicians of the Konzerthausorchester Berlin put on an entertaining concert evening that begins with a personal introduction and ends with a joint after-concert drink in the Beethoven Hall.

This time on the program: Haydn's Symphony No. 83, known as “The Chicken,” and Stravinsky's gripping Petrushka Suite, which tells a Russian fairground drama.

Joseph Haydn - Symphony No. 83 in G minor Hob I:83 (“La Poule”)

Igor Stravinsky - “Petrushka” - ballet music for orchestra (1947 version)
