Selected posters from the open-air installation "Keep Freedom High" will be on display for three weeks in the Red Town Hall. These posters were on display along the former course of the Wall on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the fall of the Wall.

The exhibition includes replicas of historical banners from the demonstrations in 1989 as well as current posters on which Berliners express their personal ideas of freedom.

Also on display is the poster by Governing Mayor Kai Wegner with the inscription: “Without freedom, everything is nothing.”

Another poster is by Vitaliy Klitschko, Mayor of Berlin’s twin city Kyiv, with the message: “Berlin and Kyiv know exactly what freedom means.”

The installation and the celebrations for the 35th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall were organized and realized by the state-owned Kulturprojekte Berlin GmbH in cooperation with the Berlin Commissioner for the Reappraisal of the SED Dictatorship, the Berlin Wall Foundation, the Robert Havemann Society, the Federal Foundation for the Reappraisal of the SED Dictatorship and other partners.
