Morning:
Boat trip on the river Spree
You start at the Hafen Treptow pier in the morning – a classic day in Berlin begins with tour of the Spree. From the Landwehrkanal, you will have unique views of the Neukölln and Kreuzberg districts. As you sail under the Corneliusbrücke, you enter the lusciously green Tiergarten. At the Spreekreuz, you reach the river. This is where the old city begins. On the shore, the Bellevue Palace glides by. Then the Haus der Kulturen der Welt, "the pregnant oyster". The Federal Chancellery and the Reichstag building are also visible from the boat. Next, you pass the pulsating Berlin-Mitte and its world famous Museum Island. On the opposite side of the river, you see the oldest residential area in the city – the Nikolaiviertel. Finally, you will pass under the towered Oberbaumbrücke before arriving back at the pier around noon.
Afternoon:
Segway tour through the government district
In 20 minutes, your tour bus will bring from the Hafen Treptow pier to Alexanderplatz. Here, you will find the landmark of Berlin: The Television Tower. The 40-second ride upwards can be experienced close up through the roof windows of the lift. Lunch in Restaurant Sphere which revolves slowly, giving you a panoramic view of Berlin, 207 metres below you. In the afternoon, your tour bus brings you to the starting point of your scheduled Segway tour. It all begins with an introduction to the Segway. You will quickly get used to the hovering nature of the vehicle. On the tour, the group will repeatedly cross wall trail marks, making the time of a divided Berlin even more tangible. For example, the tour could go through the government district to Gendarmenmarkt. At each station of the tour, the electronic guide awaits with interesting stories and anecdotes. After about two hours, you are back where you started.
Evening:
Evening entertainment
