Christmas market in Berlin from 15 to 17 December 2023

Mother Lustig has made the Stübchen ready for winter and invites you to the pre-Christmas season with hut magic and a rustic, cosy atmosphere in the premises.

Christmas stalls and stands invite you to browse on the terrace of the excursion restaurant Mutter Lustig. Enjoy hot mulled wine, punch and other sophisticated winter drinks with a view of the water. Fire barrels create a cosy atmosphere. And, of course, Father Christmas himself will be stopping by.

If you want to warm up after a walk along the Dahme and Müggelspree rivers or a tour through the beautiful old town of Köpenick, Mother Lustig welcomes you to her Christmas parlour. The fireplace is blazing and the parlour is decked out with sheepskins, candles and Christmas decorations.

You can look forward to a great live performance by the Werner Bettge Band on Saturday 16 December.

Our tips for your visit to Advent im Kiez

Köpenick Castle is only a two-minute walk away. Take a walk along the Dahme and Müggelspree rivers and don't forget to pay a visit to the Hauptmann of Köpenick in front of the town hall.

How to get there

You can reach the Mutter Lustig restaurant in about an hour from Alexanderplatz by public transport.

S-Bahn: S9 and S8 / S85 to Adlershof and then take tram 61 in the direction of Rahnsdorf/Waldschänke to Schloßplatz Köpenick
