Christmas market at Friedrichstraße station

Christmas market in Berlin from 26 November to 31 December 2024

The Christmas market at Friedrichstraße station is cosy and contemplative. The high-quality and nostalgic Christmas market is a great addition to the big Christmas markets in Berlin-Mitte and worth a visit!

Every year, there is a very special Christmas market at the famous Friedrichstraße railway station. It invites you to visit with mulled wine, barbecue specialities and a very special children's and family programme.

Christmas market of 100 stars

Look forward to storytellers, puppeteers, magicians, fire shows, children's carousels, twinkling lights, laser shows, Christmas carols, Father Christmas with his reindeer and countless stars. The "Christmas Market of 100 Stars" on Dorothea-Schlegel-Platz in Berlin-Mitte will become a magical place for children and families in 2024 with new attractions

Open until after Christmas

The Christmas market at Friedrichstraße station premiered in 2018 and has been a fixture ever since. Between the station building and the Federal Press Office on Dorothea-Schlegel-Platz, the small but exquisite Christmas market will be open until after Christmas.

Culinary delights in heated seating niches

Culinary delights include grilled specialities, garlic bread, potato specialities, mushrooms from the large pan, Polish piroggi, bigos or French hot dogs. There are also sweet treats on offer such as crêpes, candied apples, roasted almonds, chocolate fruits, quark balls or Spanish churros.

There are culinary delights such as mulled wine from winegrowers, as well as special blueberry, cherry or baked apple mulled wine. Fire tongs punch or
children's punch to warm you up

Crafts and other special gift ideas

If you are looking for special Christmas presents, you are sure to find them here: Exhibitors offer handicrafts from the Ore Mountains, handmade glass products, shepherd products and other specialities for sale on their stands. Hats, scarves, jewellery, Christmas decorations, liquorice from Sweden or herbal sweets - even those looking for small Christmas gifts will find what they are looking for here.

Christmas time is fairytale time

Little guests can get into the Christmas spirit at the fairytale huts. Whether fairy tales, puppet shows, magic, acrobatics or music - there is a colourful programme on stage every afternoon from 4 pm. Of course, Father Christmas will be coming on 6 December with little presents for the young guests. A big highlight will be on 11 December, when Father Christmas visits the Christmas market with two real reindeer from 4 pm.

Or how about a ride on the nostalgic and over 80-year-old
chain plane or the Christmas carousel?
