Christmas market on Lehmann's Farm

In the south of Berlin, Lehmanns Bauernhof opens its doors to get into the Christmas spirit and invites you to linger and enjoy a cosy Christmas market.
8 to 10 & 15 to 17 December 2023: In the south of Berlin, Lehmanns Bauernhof opens its gates to get you in the mood for Christmas and invites you to linger and enjoy a cosy Christmas market.

This year, an atmospheric Christmas market will once again take place right next to the romantic Marienfelde village green. As every year, Lehmanns Bauernhof opens its doors on the second and third weekends in Advent. On the second weekend of Advent, the historic village church in Marienfelde will also be festive. The festive concerts are definitely worth a visit.

Everything the Christmas market heart desires

The Christmas market at Bauernhof Lehmann is a pre-Christmas highlight, especially for families with children. Here you can enjoy a cosy Advent atmosphere in a family atmosphere and find many handmade and original gifts, such as soaps, ceramics, Christmas wreaths and upcycling ideas. And children can ride ponies in the paddock behind the farm.

Within sight of the paddock, choirs and orchestras create a festive atmosphere on the stage. Warm up with mulled wine and other hot drinks. There will be grilled and baked food and various regional specialities, such as cinnamon liqueur, salami, honey from Berlin bees and real mountain cheese.

Live music in the village church

The old village church is also included in the programme: a variety of cultural events, live music, open singing and a closing concert take place here and the church community presents its work.  On the second weekend of Advent there will be Christmas readings and crafts, festive concerts: organ and orchestral music, choirs, gospel and pop.

The Marienfelde village church dates back to the 12th century, making it one of the oldest village churches in Berlin. The numerous well-preserved buildings in the old village centre also exude historical flair. Here you can not only immerse yourself in the Christmas spirit in a contemplative atmosphere, but also discover the old village.
