Revues in Berlin: a stage spectacle in a class of its own
The Friedrichstadtpalast, which can hold as many as 1,900 people in its audience, is internationally renowned for its unique revues. More than 100 artists in colourful costumes present dreamlike collages of show ballet and musicals every evening. For more than a century, the Wintergarten Varieté has been a fixture in Berlin's show scene. Now at home on Potsdamer Straße, it puts on three productions each year that keep the tradition alive. Bar jeder Vernunft and Tipi am Kanzleramt also keep audiences entertained with glamorous dance shows.
