Religion in Berlin: interest in one's neighbours and openness to new things
The three largest religions live together in peace in Berlin. The Berlin Forum of Religions supports a lively interest in others' ways of life and questions of faith. Lively discussions and celebrating together are the goal of the "Long Night of Religions", when many of the city's religious institutions open their doors. The Erlöserkirche is an architectural monument, while the Sehitlik Mosque and the liberal Ibn Rushd Goethe Mosque are also quite interesting. You should also be sure to visit the New Synagogue, opened in 1866 and still one of the most important buildings in the German capital.
