Hardly any other genre is as charged with excitement as improv. After all, the actors don't have a script to follow, but instead decide to make it up as the story unfolds. Sometimes the audience can influence what's happening on stage by shouting or voting. The KINO Brotfabrik in Weißensee has established itself as one of the city's best-known improvised theatres. The ufa Fabrik in Tempelhof often has a pianist improvising accompaniment for the actors. The Gorillas, one of the city's most popular improv ensembles, regularly perform at Kreuzberg's Ratibortheater.
