Hip Hop in Berlin
Since the fall of the Berlin Wall, Berlin has established itself as a place of pilgrimage for musicians of all genres, and the beats and breaks from the States have found their way to the German capital, too. In the meantime, stars such as 50 Cent, Lil' Wayne, and Kendrick Lamar play to sold-out halls in Berlin almost weekly. But local artists like Bushido, Sido, and K.I.Z. can often be heard at Avenue, THE PEARL, and other clubs. There is definitely no shortage of hip hop available for anyone visiting the city.
