Bürgerpark Pankow

Rosenstein & Pinkepanke

Pankow’s landmark, the exquisitely restored park gate on Wilhelm-Kuhr-Straße, is the doorway to a magical place.

It is home to oak trees, birch and maple, a rare swamp cypress and  exotic trees, such as mulberry, trumpet tree and yellow poplar. In the early 1990s, a rose garden was designed featuring shrub roses, hybrid tea roses, mini roses and even climbing roses  on the pergola made of sandstone columns. In the summer months,  concerts are sometimes held in the music pavilion in the centre of the rose garden. At Rosenstein Café, visitors can relax with good coffee and delicious cakes, sausages and Buletten. A playground with a climbing ship and »Pinkepanke«, a farm for children, will delight the little ones.
