Advent bazaar around the Rudow village church

The Evangelische Kirchengemeinde Rudow (Rudow Protestant parish) invites visitors to the Adventsbasar rund um die Dorfkirche Rudow with homemade goods, contemplative live music and a children’s railway.Around the medieval village church of the Rudow Protestant parish in the district of Neukölln a small Advent bazaar is taking place on the first Advent as every year.

The church, built in 1375, suffered extensive damage in the Second World War and owes its present appearance to its reconstruction in 1954. The proceeds from the Adventsbasar rund um die Dorfkirche Rudow and other donations go to social projects in the neighbourhood.

Lovingly handmade gifts

On a variety of lovingly decorated stands, various groups and other exhibitors present gift ideas, some of which are handmade. A municipal group meets weekly throughout the year to make paper handicrafts, knitwear and wooden artworks.

Coffee, cake and mulled wine

During your visit, you can keep up your strength with homemade cakes, other delicacies and warm up with mulled wine and coffee.

Contemplative Christmas music

The parish choir and trombonists provide musical accompaniment to the contemplative Christmas hustle and bustle and you can find peace during various devotions in the church.
