One day in Berlin – Our program suggestion for you:

Morning:

A classic city tour
It is your first morning in Berlin. A licensed tour guide greets you and your club members at the tour bus. First stop is Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church. Whoever sees the ruins of this neoclassical church ruin immediately knows why it is referred to as the "hollow tooth". The next photo-op is at the famous shopping centre KaDeWe (Kaufhaus des Westens). Of course you will want to see the remains of the Berlin Wall. Your guide provides you with useful background information about the time of a divided Germany. Your bus now takes you along to the most important and loved squares. You will see Potsdamer Platz, Gendarmenmarkt and the Schlossplatz. And then to the great landmark of Berlin: At Alexanderplatz, the tour guide will tell you interesting details about the Television Tower. A picture of Brandenburg Gate is also a must. Onwards to the German government building and the Berlin Victory Column. After a detour to Kurfürstendamm, you are back to where you first started.

Afternoon:

The Museum Island – a museum for everyone
In the afternoon, a visit to the Museumsinsel (Museum Island) is planned. Here in the heart of Berlin, stand five monumental buildings from the 19th and 20th centuries. The architecture alone makes a visit worthwhile. Among the exhibited sculptures, paintings and relics of the past, there is something for everyone. To get an overview, you have the possibility of booking a two-hour tour giving you an impression of the island's history. Thanks to the group tour, you don't have to queue for each museum. You will be shown all the highlights. For example, you will see the 13 elaborately decorated antique vases in the Altes Museum (Old Museum). In Neues Museum (New Museum), you encounter the world famous bust of the Egyptian princess Nefertiti. Unfortunately, the Pergamon Museum has been closed for renovation work since October 2023.

Evening:

Dinner and a show
In the evening, you can enjoy the casual hospitality of Berlin. You can choose between Sophieneck in the historical centre, the Lemke Brewery or Alt Berliner Biersalon. Everywhere, you receive classical German fare and Berlin specialities. After this feast for the palate, a feast for the eyes awaits. The Friedrichstadt-Palast offers elaborate costumes, opulent stage sets, wild choreographies and rousing music for every show. With almost 1,900 seats, it is the largest revue theatre in Europe. After this colourful experience of pompous splendour and quiet poetic moments, you will be brought to your group's hotel.
