for the whole family

This year, the Heckmann-Höfe will once again be an atmospheric open-air stage with a very special flair. In case of rain, the theater will simply move indoors.

Participation theater is a special form of theater in which an experienced actor tells a fairy tale, slipping into a variety of roles and characters.

The children experience the art of role-playing up close – they see live how the narrator switches from one character to the next right before their eyes. But the audience doesn't remain passive: They can listen intently, think along, and actively participate.

At many points, children and adults are invited to come on stage and play along. This creates a lively, interactive theater experience with direct exchange between narrator and audience.
