Since April 2021, the Konzerthausorchester Berlin has been the first symphony orchestra to host an interactive livestream series on the gaming platform Twitch. The monthly, two-hour livestreams "Spielzeit" have so far received 1.34 million views.
Musicians from the Konzerthausorchester Berlin play live for an average of 3,000 viewers, introduce their instruments, and provide insights into their daily professional lives in a relaxed setting.
