Nicole Zuraitis is an award-winning American jazz musician (vocals, piano, songwriting, arrangement). Zuraitis initially focused on sports and was a talented soccer player before turning to jazz in high school, where she started on trombone but later switched to vocals. She studied classical voice at New York University before finding her true path in jazz after being invited to a jazz festival. Since 2013, Zuraitis has released six albums as a jazz singer and leads her own quartet. She is also the band vocalist for the Birdland Big Band.


Her arrangement of Dolly Parton's Jolene, co-written with her husband Dan Pugach, was nominated for a Grammy in 2019. How Love Begins, produced with Christian McBride, won the Grammy for Best Jazz Vocal Album in 2024. She has collaborated with artists such as Antonio Sanchez, Gilad Hekselman, Veronica Swift, and more, and teaches at New York University and the State University of New York, Purchase.
