As is so often the case in real life, his talent alone didn't lead to his breakthrough. It was a study trip to Paris that marked the turning point in Thomas Krüger's career.
A few years ago, he saw a public piano in the waiting area at Paris-Orly Airport and simply started playing, a medley of well-known pop songs that just popped into his head. His mother filmed the spontaneous performance, and Thomas Krüger uploaded the cell phone video to YouTube under the stage name "Mr. Pianoman."
And then it happened: practically overnight, the video spread rapidly, reaching over 57 million viewers to date. From then on, Thomas Krüger found his passion and captivated the music world with numerous sensational piano videos – almost 1 million people from all over the world now follow him on YouTube.
Thomas Krüger has big plans for 2025. Following the release of his first solo album, Indecision, last year, his next solo tour, titled Mr. Pianoman Live, is now underway.
