in conversation with Carina Bukuts
In conversation with Carina Bukuts, Lena Henke and Julian Irlinger will present their exhibited works in the exhibition "It's Just a Matter of Time. Deutsche Bank Collection in Dialogue."
While Henke questions the concepts and structures of urban planning, Irlinger's works explore objects and institutions that convey history and shape collective memory.
The two are inextricably linked:
- Would history have been different if cities and living spaces had been designed with solidarity and communal thinking from the outset?
- And how might the future develop if people could tell their stories in a pluralistic and reflective way?
Following the discussion, a joint walk to the gallery is planned, including a visit to Lena Henke's exhibition "Horizontal & Vertical Sculpture."
The exhibition will be open until 7 p.m. prior to the discussion.
The discussion is held in cooperation with Galerie Thomas Schulte.
