Guided tour in German sign language
On Saturday, June 14, 2025 and Saturday, September 13, 2025, a public guided tour with interpretation in German Sign Language (DGS) will be offered. Hearing, hard of hearing and deaf people are cordially invited to attend.
The dialogical tour provides insights into the exhibition and shows how the crimes of the Nazi regime were made public in five European cities in the immediate post-war period. Historical photographs, films and objects are used to explain what the first attempts to deal with the crime against humanity looked like. You will learn which original sites bear witness to the Nazi tyranny, but also which images from the concentration camps in Europe were made visible to the public for the first time. Forms of resistance are presented based on the history of the Warsaw Uprising and the Ghetto Uprising.
Discussion with the participants is expressly encouraged.
All contributions will be translated into DGS and spoken language so that a barrier-free exchange is possible.
Registration is not required.
