Dan K. Sigurd was born in Berlin, but grew up mainly in Hamburg. Between numerous extensive trips through Europe and the USA, he studied film, politics and psychology at the Free University and directing at the filmArche in Berlin, where he currently lives and works. He regularly gives readings of his work and has been writing poems for passers-by in Mauerpark in Prenzlauer Berg, at festivals and in other memorable places for several years.
