Join mushroom expert Tamara Pilz-Hunter for a spring mushroom tour!
When people think of mushrooms in spring, they often only think of their edible counterparts, such as the various morel species. However, these edible mushrooms only make up a fraction of the biodiversity in the fungal kingdom.
The tour aims to broaden your perspective and introduce different mushroom species and their fundamental importance in the Hahneberg habitat. Be fascinated by the diversity and beauty of the diverse fungi! Participants will learn what makes mushrooms special and the important roles these creatures play in nature and conservation.
Perhaps we'll be lucky and find a few edible mushrooms. Of course, these will be discussed as well. Feel free to bring questions, a basket, and a magnifying glass!
Registration is required, as space is limited. The tour is free, but a small donation is greatly appreciated.
We recommend wearing appropriate clothing and comfortable shoes.
